Borders are disappearing everywhere: between countries, between what we used to think of as competitors, customers and suppliers, and in the definition of roles within the organisation. Business is increasingly ‘open’.

So how do you ensure that you can capture the benefits of ‘openness’ and avoid its pitfalls? And how do you challenge your perception of what good practice actually means, where you can find it and how it can be applied?

We help you to leverage new sources of learning by creating the conditions for collaborative exchange across and outside the organisation.

Our members value the experience of their peers, and the insights which can come from a critical review of outsiders, offered in the spirit of mutual improvement.  EFQM maintains trust by safeguarding confidentiality and applying its expertise to the selection of organisations that can learn from one another.

Take part in one of our structured approaches to exchange and benefit from pragmatic learning, grounded in the experience of EFQM members.

Peer to Peer learning
A unique strength of EFQM is its power to bring together organisations together from across sectors, and to link individuals together in structured learning.  We can help you identify partner organisations for exchange and benchmarking, facilitate learning visits or link you together with fellow professionals in one of our communities of practice.  All backed up by shared values and references, and the trust that EFQM has built over twenty years of such exchange.

Peer to Peer exchange and benchmarking
Let us connect you with peers, in and beyond your sector of activity, who are prepared to share learning that is appropriate to your organisation.

EFQM Learning Visits
Join us in visiting members who are prepared to share and explain what they have learned on a topic of particular interest.

EFQM Communities of Practice
Self-managed networks, bringing together people who share the same professional interest in a specific topic or sector.

EFQM introductory meeting
Introduces new members to the EFQM organisation, and how the network can be used to support organisational learning.

Events
EFQM events share and celebrate the lessons of excellent organisations.  Our network unites executives to review how organisations can improve their ability to implement strategy.  We link functional managers together in exchange on practices and together we recognise superior organisational performance.

EFQM Forum
An annual exchange of learning and a celebration of excellent business practices from across the private and public sectors, active in and beyond Europe.

EFQM Learning Edge conference
An annual meeting of EFQM members to exchange latest practices in relation to topics of business improvement.

EFQM Executive Roundtables
A twice yearly exchange between executives on topics related to improving the consistent implementation of business strategy.

Cases and frameworks
EFQM cases and frameworks document some of the insights into implementing effective organisational change.  Cases are based on member companies, who have demonstrated leadership in the systematic implementation of a business strategy.  Frameworks help to structure the implementation of responses to some of today’s key challenges, such as risk management, CSR or innovation.

EFQM Cases
To support senior executives and individuals in the organisation tasked with undertaking strategic change programmes, EFQM has developed a case learning series documenting successful examples of how member companies have solved implementation related issues.
The EFQM case series celebrates examples of leadership: how a desired outcome has been systematically communicated and the people within an organisation motivated and aligned to deliver it.

EFQM Frameworks
Frameworks are non-prescriptive, tools and methods for responding  to some of the strategic challenges of the organisation.  Developed by EFQM in association with expert partners, each framework provides a structured approach to topics such as innovation, risk management and implementing corporate social responsibility.
