By committing to the ‘Recognized for Excellence’ programme you are looking to benefit from external feedback from an experienced team of consultants or practicing managers.   You also want to benefit from receiving a distinctive and prestigious international recognition based on the most widely used management framework in Europe (The EFQM Excellence Model).  Along the way, you will also have the possibility to benchmark against other organisations using the same framework..

Recognised for Excellence is designed for organisations that are well on their way to organisational excellence. These organisations, or organisational units, have experience in the implementation of continuous improvement and management frameworks.

Applicants are offered a choice of how they will be assessed and will define with EFQM the most suitable approach.  This may include the writing of  a submission document or receiving an on-site assessment.  In all cases, an external team of EFQM trained Assessors will visit the company and provide feedback..

Organisations have the possibility to be recognised to a Three-Star, Four-Star or Five-Star level. This will depend on the outcome of the external assessment achieving more than 300, 400 or 500 points.

Based on the feedback of the external team, you will be able to define the next steps in improving your competitiveness.
